Jan Paul Favier (1967) studied Molecular Science at the agricultural university of Wageningen. After his PhD., carried out at the VLAG research centre in Wageningen, he became a subsidy advisor specialised in technological, innovative and employment-finding grants. In 2000 he then worked at the interface of human resources and account management for a large outsourcing company for five years, first as account manager, then as resource manager. During his tenure with this company, he built the R&D unit with his partner René Kemps and became an expert in the field of Chemistry and Life Sciences. In 2005 he founded together with Kemps CLS Services.

René Kemps (1972) got his degree in Chemical Engineering at the Technical University of Eindhoven. After his studies, he worked for a few years as a sales engineer for Shipley Royal, a daughter company of Rohm and Haas. In early 2000 he then moved to an outsourcing company where he worked as an account manager and as a sales manager. This is where he got experience in recruitment and coaching. During his tenure with this company, he was responsible, with his partner Jan Paul Favier, for building the Chemistry & Life Sciences competence line. In addition, he got a degree in General Management from the university of Nyenrode in 2004. In 2005 he founded together with Favier CLS Services.

Claudia-Erwich Faaij (1979) studied Biomedical Sciences at Leiden University. After her degree she worked for almost 2 years as a research analyst and then continued her research, on cellular migration in haematological and immunological disorders, as a doctoral student in the Department of Paediatrics at LUMC. Via CLS Services she worked as Application Manager at Astellas Pharma and also for a short project as an Associate Scientist at Philips Research. Since January 2011 she works as a consultant at CLS Services.
