For our client, The Kraft Heinz Company, we are looking for a Process Technologist.

One of the key categories is our Better Meals and First Food category. This category consists of ready to eat meals for adults such as Heinz Baked Beanz and Canned soups as well as babies and infants such as Plasmon Biscotti and Heinz By Nature.
To contribute to this goal, for R&D International, we are looking for an enthusiastic Process Technologist for our Process Development Team, who shares our passion for a more sustainable future.
We do what is right. We create a healthier, fresher product portfolio for our consumers and help to improve our processes to be more sustainable by improving process efficiency and reducing our carbon footprint.
What will you do?
Working for our International Better Meals and First Food categories, you will bring new technologies to life! You will work on alternative process technologies and systems that will enable the delivering of new concepts with a good compromise of value for money along the different product categories.
In this role you will work with a diverse team of both young and experienced experts, varying from our internal food technologists to partnering with Process Engineers in the business, creating new products, design and build new process lines and find cost saving opportunities.

Who we're looking for
You need to have a Master Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering, or Process Food Technology and also 3 years as process Engineer/Technologist in a food company.
- Functional understanding of (food) technology including foundational science, ingredient functionality and microbiology
- Functional understanding of (food) process technology including mass balances, heat transfer calculations and flow diagrams/P&IDs
- Understanding of product preservation including pasteurization, sterilization and thermal validation
- Understanding of data analysis
- Understanding of quality and food safety standards including hygienic design, HACCP and GMP.
- Language Knowledge: Fluent in English
