Profile
As Laboratory Assistant you will assist Category Development teams by providing support in carrying out analyses in the Microbiological & Analytical Laboratories and support Good laboratories Practices. You will operate, clean and carry of any autonomous maintenance on Laboratories equipment, as instructed by the Lab manager & R&D Microbiologist and scheduled as agreed with the Microbiological & Analytical Plans of the Projects. You will conduct the required Microbiological & Analytical tests to support the reporting of the NPD projects in collaboration with the categories customers.The following activities will be part of the job:
- Enter all data into the LIMS & Micro stability reports database;
- Perform the required testing of finished and raw products and prototypes;
- Ensure the organisation of the Microbiological tests and their data collection;
- Ensure that all the required documentation is completed in a timely fashion and that it is accurate and legible;
- Complete test results to standard and take action in out-of-specification situations and discuss the results with R&D Microbiologist;
- Follow and enforce Good Laboratory Practises (GLP's) and Quality Standards;
- Maintain adequate stock of lab supplies;
- Maintain work area in a clean, neat, orderly manner;
- Inform Management when out-of-specification situations occur;
- Other duties as requested by the Lead Laboratory manager.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for someone with a relevant MLO degree (microbiology or analytical chemistry) with a high sense of accuracy. As Kraft Heinz is an international company, a good understanding of written and spoken English and good interpersonal skills are essential for this role. You have experience with working in a food microbiology laboratory environment, preferably working under quality guidelines like GLP. Some experience in documentation would be nice. Do you enjoy working in a team and do you have a high sense of quality and safety? Then we are looking for you!Candidates with an M.Sc. are overqualified and will not be considered for this role.
