Meat to please you! At the Vegetarian Butcher they are looking for new ‘meat on the block’ to join them in the biggest food revolution of all times.
In this journey they are travelling (and expanding) at the speed of light and, therefore, they are looking for a Data Specialist who has the passion to change the world!

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain high quality product and labelling specifications in desired IT systems for products developed. Make the specification compliant with European Food Law. Verify it against regulatory rules, quality standards and model specs in co-operation with product developers, regulatory, supply chain, project teams and ingredient experts;
Deliver specifications and labelling data for innovations and data projects and co-ordinate its delivery among other team members. Manage timing of own and team tasks in co-operation with project leader, pro-actively communicate status and issues with project teams. Assure product and labelling specifications on-time pass approval step in Unilever digital tools;
Drive standardisation and simplification of product and labelling data together with Formulation teams. Seek for uplifting of data quality in line with changes in food law, growing market demands and TVB strategies.

Who we're looking for

The ideal candidate has the following skills/experience:

Minimum relevant professional experience of 3 years is required;
Project management skills in a high pace environment;
Strong consumer and customer focus / strong at customer contact;
Excellent computer literacy (Excel). Favourable knowledge about management of databases, Power BI;
Very good communication skills, ability to work in multifunctional and multicultural team;
Solution oriented mindset and good communication skills;
Affinity with details, structured and consistent way of working;
Engagement and creativity;
Effective networking;
Proactive;
Work as a team.

Company profile

On October 4th (world animal day) 2010 Jaap Korteweg, 9th generation farmer and meat lover, founded The Vegetarian Butcher. Together with a devoted team of chefs and scientists he created innovative and sustainable meat successors directly from beans and legumes.
