Your role in a nutshell:
As the Engineering Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving engineering excellence across multiple manufacturing sites. You will transform how they think, operate, and deliver by leading cross-functional teams, developing high-impact strategies, and implementing state-of-the-art systems and practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead & Inspire: Build and develop high-performing engineering teams, fostering collaboration and a mindset of continuous improvement;
- Project Management: Deliver complex engineering projects on time and on budget;
- Drive Change: Spearhead transformation programs and implement best-in-class processes and tools;
- Team Development: Recruit, coach, and retain top engineering talent across regions;
- Efficiency & Safety: Elevate safety standards and operational performance across the board;
- Strategic Influence: Shape the engineering transformation roadmap aligned with our business goals;
- Tech-Forward Thinking: Stay ahead of emerging technologies in food and ice cream manufacturing;
- Cross-Functional Partnering: Work closely with R&D, Product, and Supply Chain to bring ideas to life;
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure technical risk is managed and standards are maintained.
Who we're looking for
What you bring to the table:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in engineering leadership or transformation roles;
- Strong background in engineering principles and manufacturing processes;
- Technical expertise in food/ice cream technologies/facilities;
- Experience in TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies;
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills;
- Comfortable working on the factory floor and occasionally outside standard hours.
