Meat to please you! At the Vegetarian Butcher we’re looking for new "meat on the block" to join us in the biggest food revolution of all times.When Unilever acquired the company at the end of 2018, they joined in on this mission and committed to accelerate the biggest food revolution of all time. Since then the company is scaling-up fast. In this journey we are travelling (and expanding) at the speed of light and therefore we are looking for an HR People Partner who has the passion to change the world!
Main responsibilities:
- You will play a key role in delivering a great employee and line manager experience by being the primary contact for a dedicated group of Line Managers and Employees;
- You provide advice, guidance and support on employment matters and individual situations and manage the necessary processing to implement changes;
- You are involved in HR activities spanning the whole employee life cycle, such as on-boarding, (international) moves, pay, leave of absence, illness cases, performance questions etc.;
- You work closely with the Global HR Lead on Butcher wide HR projects;
- You are a familiar face to all Butchers in our Rotterdam office and Breda factory. This means that you will be at least one day per week at each location.
Who we're looking for
You are naturally positive and have a friendly character; colleagues know where to find you easily for HR-related questions. Furthermore, you have the following:- Solid experience (minimal 3 years) in advising and coaching line managers and/or employees on HR related matters;
- Good language proficiency in Dutch & English;
- Proficiency and broad understanding of policies, labor law and able to navigate (complex) processes and systems;
- HR Factory experience is a plus;
- You are not afraid to push back when needed but driven to deliver an excellent end – to – end employee/line manager experience;
- Understanding the bigger picture but have an eye for detail;
- You fire up when there is a challenge and remain your cool when there are multiple priorities or peaks in workload;
- You are pragmatic but thorough in doing your work and finding the best approach for every situation and spot opportunities for improvement;
- Love to work with (new) technology, are interested in HR trends and developments and strive for continuous process improvement.
