    Profile

    As European Product Data Manager, you focus on designing, building, and continuously improving data quality and reporting solutions across SAP, PIM, and EPDM systems. You combine hands-on data engineering and BI development with strong stakeholder management to align markets, teams, and business requirements. The BI products need to be handed over to the global team at the end of the year, so your main responsibility is to maintain the products and make sure updates are implemented. No real new developments are needed in the existing products. You ensure reliable product data by driving governance, validation frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Communication & Stakeholder Management
    • Lead weekly PIM/GDS sessions to identify functional gaps and track Change Requests;
    • Manage daily operational communication, coordinating actions and providing updates;
    • Support colleagues through sparring, troubleshooting, dashboard guidance, and mentoring.
    2. Tool Development & Data Engineering (Databricks, Power BI)
    • Design and revise scalable Databricks back ends for SAP Data Quality dashboards;
    • Manage feedback loops with end users to refine and validate SAP DQ rules and improve adoption and trust;
    • Develop and enhance validation logic, data models, and SQL frameworks;
    • Build end-2-end Power BI reports, including KPIs, visuals, QA, and EPDM dashboard improvements;
    • Create Power Automate flows from requirement intake through iterative development.
    • Define cross-market quality metrics and TAB-specific validation rules for EPDM;
    • Support future SAP–PIM Data Integrity dashboard development.
    3. Data Governance & Quality Oversight
    • Maintain data lineage and model consistency across SAP, PIM, GDS, and EPDM;
    • Update Databricks dependencies when new tables or objects are introduced;
    • Promote strong data governance across markets and internal teams.

    Who we're looking for

    To succeed in this role, you need the following technical skills:
    • Databricks (SQL, data engineering)
    • Power BI (data modelling, DAX, visualisation)
    • Python
    As this role requires a lot of communication between different teams, we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who is able to simplify complex data topics for business audiences. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of relevant experience.
    Are you results driven, can you think ahead and are you independent and pro-active? Then we are looking for you!
